Project Trivia
By: Robyn Barnette
NOTE: THIS PROJECT IS BEING OVERHAULED IN SPRING/SUMMER 2008.
- Filmed and photographed in eight weeks.
- This project is based on the Bratz Funk Out! Collection; since Bratz character Meygan is not part of the collection, Bratz Wild Life Safari Meygan was used to blend her in with the existing Bratz Funk Out! dolls (at the time the Bratz Funk Out! Collection was introduced, Meygan was still "retired").
- The video slideshow was inspired by videos from the Bratz Pack's official website at http://www.bratz.com/.
- The track that I chose for the video slideshow was inspired by a dream where I went to see the theatrical release of the movie "Bratz" and heard the track playing in the opening credits of the movie.
- It was rumored that the photo of Dana at the abandoned factory was not real. The rumor was that I shot a photo of Dana standing in a white background and used graphic imaging techniques to superimpose the image of Dana onto the background of the factory, to make the photo look real. Apparently, this is not true: I really did go to this particular location where the abandoned factory was located and shot the photo of Dana with the factory in the background. Furthermore, Dana really was standing in the middle of the highway when the photo was shot.
- At 27 seconds, Yasmin has the longest duration of all the photos in the video slideshow. This is because Yasmin is named after Jasmin Larian, the daughter of the President and CEO of MGA Entertainment, Issac Larian.
- All the photos in this project were actually test shots. However, the test shots came out so good that I figured I should create a project out of it. This project is the result of all the test shots I captured.
- I had wanted to include a group photo of all eight Bratz Pack characters in both the video slideshow and photo album. Since the photo was considered a "miscellaneous" photo, I omitted the the Bratz Pack group photo from this project and placed the photo in the Random Bratz Photos section.
- This project was the foundation of creating the Bratz Heaven website.
